size10plz: chaoskillsdinosaurs: toesinthesand5: i volunteer at my local animal shelter. they are a no kill shelter, which is the only shelter i would want to volunteer for. i see so many animals there who just want a home and to be loved. i walk at least two to three puppies every time i volunteer. puppies! yes they are pit bulls but they are the sweetest dogs i’ve ever met. whenever i take them out for a walk all they want is to be held.  before you go buy a dog from a breeder, go visit your local animal shelter. you might just find the perfect pet there. Animal shelter volunteer <3 everyone of them (almost heeh) Even if you don’t have time to volunteer, buying animal food makes all the difference. Animal shelters area always in need of food, and you can make doggy treats (you can make here!) for the dogs! If you can’t afford animal food, donate your old news papers so they can use them for bedding and etc.
